I guess I'll update

Wow...I am so behind on this whole blogging thing... I'll try to catch you all up on what's been going on in the life of Jacob and myself...

Jacob was out of town all weekend. This was his first year to attend the annual "Man Weekend" trip...although I find the whole idea of "no women, children or pets" to be absurd, Jacob said he had a blast! I myself had a pretty good time too.

My first night alone was Luke's first night of puppy training courses. He was AWFUL...he needs lots of work..but i'll keep you all posted on the progress of that... I couldn't of made it through class #1 without the help of my mom!

I spent the first night at my parents house and I must say although I love sharing a bed with my wonderful husband it was nice to sleep and not have to worry about anything, no listen to sleep talking, snoring or sleep walking...no extra dogs in the bed...just me! It was great. The second night my sweet mom came over and we spent the night here at my house. We watched girly movies, played cards, ate a Biti Pie,  a blizzard, The Plaza, a sopapilla, and apple turnovers...Needless to say it was a very healthy unhealthy weekend.... but it was fun!!!!

Jacob finally got back into town and we took all of Sunday to rest and recover, Jake was exhausted and I made him a yummy enchilada dinner to welcome him home! Then he woke up this morning sick. He had a small fever all day and rested in bed off and on. I think he is feeling a little better now and I'm glad!!! Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Our weekend was fast paced and fun! I enjoyed the time by myself with my parents...turns out after all these years they are pretty cool people!! :) I am very thankful for them!! And it sounds like Jacob had a lot of fun too...maybe to much fun if you ask me! But we were thankful for our weekend experiences and glad to be back together in our home with our puppies! Hope you all have a great week!

Here's the deal...

Every family has it's own share of struggles....issues....skeleton's in the closet if you will. Our family is no exception to this rule. Jacob and I have had a rough relationship with the Reinbold side of the family for over a year now. Back before we were even engaged this went sour, honestly Jacob and I don't know what really happened. But things have been said and done that have made our situation to far gone. We have prayed unceasingly about this situation and we have done our part to meet, talk, and share our feelings. However hearts are not ready to have a relationship. We serve a mighty and big God who can fix ANY situation, however right now we feel like we've been told to be still.
Jacob and I rest very easy at night knowing that we've forgiven (for our own sake and our walk with the Lord) and that we as Christians have to stop and rest. Marriage is hard, especially the first year of marriage, especially when you are so young. We are so proud of where we are in life. Married, house, dogs, school, jobs...we are doing great, but at this point of our lives we need to be filled with support and love. It seems like the blog (before going private) turned into a source for people to keep unnecessary tabs on us, it turned into a source of gossip and even lies came from it.
That was never the point of the blog. I think it's such a great idea to have a blog. It documents all the fun and exciting and even the hard times in life. It captures photos and videos of where we are at this time in our lives and it's something  that we can have forever. We can come back and show our kids someday the pictures of us when we were their age, we can look back at our experience of buying our first home. It is precious to me and something that I don't want to be taken advantage of. I hope each of you who reads our blog remembers why we have it. I hope you are encouraged by our stories, testimonies, and life events.
Jacob and I are not giving up. We are still praying and working hard to restore the relationship that was once there..hopefully you all can join with us to pray for our families. All our families; because I know I am not the only one who has a rift...it's a season in our lives that we are looking forward to moving past. Until then.....we'll be praying....
_thanks for supporting us_

Also--On a lighter note, I have already heard from some of you about having problems logging in. It says something about a password being incorrect. We are going to remain private for a while- but we might eventually change the URL address and make it open again- Sorry if it's inconvenient right now. We will email notify each of you who requested to continue reading  whenever we decide to change something. Thanks for reading!
Have a happy Monday.

Going Private

I have a fellow blogger buddy who decided to take her profile private...I find that to be a very good idea, especially considering who has been reading our blog.

From now on if you want to continue reading the Reinbold Family blog you have to send me your email address and I will add you to the list of people allowed to read the blog.

This will go in effect Monday morning, so between now and Monday morning you can comment to this post and tell me your email address or you can email me directly Maci4109@yahoo.com to be allowed access to our blog.

Please keep in mind that this blog was never meant to be a source of gossip or things that were untrue. I think this will help the wondering eyes of those of you who should have better things to do, than check up on myself and Jacob--- maybe now you all can be focused on your job instead of mine and Jacob's blog. If there are any questions I would LOVE to answer them....

**Don't forget to send me your email address!

Has it already been one year????

This picture was taken SIX years ago. This actually is the first picture that Jacob and I EVER took together! Pretty crazy!!! We have come along way from this!!!
Last year on March 29th- A beautiful Sunday afternoon, my homecoming date, best friend, boyfriend and love of my life asked me to marry him!!!!!! That day changed my life forever!!!! I never knew how happy that curly headed kid would make me. I remember this day like it was yesterday!!!

He asked.....
I said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was a full year ago!! I can't believe it! Time has flown by-we have overcame so many things, we have grown, we have learned, we have laughed and we have loved.

Since our engagement- we of course got married :) we bought a house, we bought a dog, we went on a cruise, we have eaten a few burnt dinners, a few super dinners, had a few house parties, had my family over ALOT, we've done alot!

I can not express how truly blessed I am by Jacob. He has just become this wonderful, amazing and supportive husband. He is always striving to learn new things, he prays for us constantly, he leads our home with me by his SIDE, he loves my family which is so important to me, and he loves me!! Jacob is incredible and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us!

Thanks for agreeing to stand by side forever babe! You make me so happy!!! I love you more than you know and your my best friend!! Thanks for the past six years of memories...and all ones to come!
xoxo

Something is missing...literally

So Jacob and I are in the process of planting a garden...
Nothing perfect, very simple-just a garden. My main focus of our garden was tomatoes. Jake and I love tomatoes! We make (and by we, I mean "I") this fabulous tomato mozzarella dish, etc. We love them!

Anyways- we get all geared up to plant a garden- tomatoes, bell peppers, okra, green chile, etc.... Jacob built a fence so our WONDERFUL dog (maybe a hint of sarcasm) wouldn't eat our garden---See pics below

So he builds this great fence, for our great little garden, and then................it SNOWED!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah snow! YUCK! So then we talked to the lady at Lowes, turns out you are not supposed to even think about planting a garden until like the second weekend in April...who knew!

Ok- so we understand now. However we've already bought seeds (which are fine) but we also bought a BIG tomato plant and small jalapeno plant. Now I grew very accustomed to these two plants- I watered them daily, took them outside while it was sunny and brought them in the house every night! I was so proud of my growing plants!

Well something happened. Today I put my two little plants outside for some sunshine while I was at work. When I got home I went to bring them in and notice my lovely little tomato plant was MISSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes missing! Now I tried to think where a tomato plant could disappear to. The wind didn't blow it over- there was no soil, no plant, and no pot ANYWHERE in the back yard (we checked) Luke didn't eat it because once again... no soil, no plant and no pot (plus we had it sitting up realllllllly high..almost to high for me so he couldn't get to it) I just can't imagine where it is. I guess it blew away or something but I really find it hard to believe because of it's size (and the small plant is still there.) Jacob found it preposterous that somebody would come into our backyard and only take a tomato plant...although I have not completely ruled that out. It was groomed very nicely if I may say so myself :)

But anyways I guess we will just wait till the second weekend of April and buy a new stinkin tomato plant. Bummer.

I guess if you see it please bring it back... haha!
